two-tone skirt from Yves Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche line. very fitted through the waist with exaggerated hips that give it a unique balloon effect. scalloped edge between black and taupe/olive on the bottom. best dated to S/S 1980 collection, where you see pieces in the same colour blocking and shapes throughout.

two concealed pockets. unlined. extreme volume is created through the piece's cut, but there is no formal support in the skirt, so would require a crinoline of some sort underneath if you wanted to ensure the shape didn't collapse during wear.

excellent condition and professionally dry-cleaned. no flaws.

made in France. material not marked, feels like cotton. marked FR 36, best fits US 0-2 (mannequin is US 2). always consult the measurements provided, however.
