1980s sweater dress in a beautiful thick wool knit by Karl Lagerfeld for his KL line. Karl Lagerfeld started his own line in 1984, while already designing at Fendi and having moved to Chanel from Chloé. the dress embodies all the boldness of the decade, with its cocoon shape, polka dot and stripe pattern, and turquoise blue and black colour-way. its also has a fun novelty pocket all the way at the bottom, near the hem.

dress features ribbing at the cuffs, collar, and hem and has shoulder pads that can of course be removed.

good general vintage condition, except has three spots where the knit was repaired - two on the front and one on the sleeve, near the underarm. these repairs appear in the last three slides before the tag, but do not show at all when worn. otherwise the sweater is in very good condition and has been freshly cleaned and is ready to be worn. be sure to treat gently and only dry-clean or hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent.

100% wool. made in Hong Kong. marked M, fits S-M-L depending on desired fit, though is not meant to fit close to the body or show the body's shape (mannequin is a US 2 or S). always consult the measurements provided.
