beautiful bodysuit from designer Azzedine Alaïa. best dated to his Spring 1986 collection, based on a number of bodysuits we have seen from that collection that feature the same cuts, metallic finish and series of snap closures. this bodysuit is being sold as is, and has slightly more wear than what we normally feature, but is a beautiful piece from an important designer's early years and still has a lot of life. 

the bodysuit has a metallic copper finish, which has slightly faded over the years, but still has a sheen. it features a high neck, low scoop sides, and high cut leg. it has a row of snaps down the back and two snaps at the crotch.

condition is fair and is reflected in the price. as noted above, the metallic finish has diminished over the years, and there is some slight pilling, which does not show when worn. the neck seam has been repaired in a few places, which also do not show at all when worn. one of the snaps at the crotch was missing and was replaced by a seamstress. also, there is a slight pull on the bottom in back (last slide), which was not a hole per se, but which we reinforced on the inside to ensure that it is now stabilized. the bodysuit presents very well, was dry-cleaned and is ready to be worn.

70% polyester 30% viscose. very small, especially in length, and could not be closed on the mannequin. best suits an XXS/XS who is petite, without an extremely long torso. make sure to check measurements, especially length.
