Pierre Cardin pour Paul & Joe very low-dip backless dress - XS
In 2008 Parisian brand Paul & Joe approached Pierre Cardin for a collaboration focused on Cardin's early design codes, with his ode to clean, crisp lines, a little futurism and mod sexiness at the forefront. this dress definitely has the sexiness, with an incredibly open back that dips extremely low, well below any underwear line were there any underwear line to begin with. in front the dress has a square neck and subtle bow at the waist, where the fabric gathers and the dress comes in to reveal a bit of skin on each side. in the back, the straps loop around each shoulder and tie mid-back, with the skirt gathering right at the dip and creating a fishtail that hangs from that point.
excellent condition - no flaws and freshly dry-cleaned.
made in France. 100% viscose. marked 36, best fits US 0-2, and is especially small and narrow in the bust, with very little real support, which would most likely feel uncomfortable for someone with a large bust. also, the wider the hips, the higher the skirt will sit on the body and the less low the dip in back.
- length: 48" from top of strap to bottom of skirt in back
