beautiful matching set from Krizia. made of woven linen, the set consists of a long line top with low arm holes and a tie at the neck and a simple low waisted a-line skirt. the top has a very casual, slouchy silhouette and could also double as a dress. the skirt has a thick waistband and a slight pleating for movement. the knit has a very open weave and is semi-sheer as a result, which adds a sexiness to an otherwise casual design. deep burgundy colour with an orangery-red tie-dye effect throughout.

possibly Spring 1997, where you see the same tie-dye effect, colour story and sheer slouchy knits. if not that collection, best dated to the late 1990s.

made in Italy. 100% linen. marked 44, which is a US 8-10. fits US 6-8-10 (M/L). shown here on US 2 mannequin, but skirt was slightly clamped for fit. note that the skirt is meant to be worn low waisted, so take that into account when measuring, and also that the material is a knit, with stretch.
