F/W 1981 Issey Miyake fringe jacket - M/L

rare Issey Miyake jacket from the Fall 1981 collection where it walked the runway. cut boxy and rather cropped (though would finish lower than the natural waist), the jacket feels like a soft tweed with rows of fringe along the front, going up over the shoulder and coming down in a v shape down the back. a statement jacket that remains minimalist and versatile, as many Miyake pieces do.

two concealed hook and eye closures, one at the bust and another at the waist.

excellent vintage condition. one pen mark on the lining. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

no material tag. fits M-L or US 6-8-10 or S more oversized. always consult the measurements provided, however.
