beautiful silk skirt from Fendi's Fall 2014 collection, part of look 46 on the runway, designed by Karl Lagerfeld. the collection was named 'Made in Italy'. travel was a theme throughout the collection, with the final few looks, this skirt included, taking the point to its logical conclusion with an abstract nod to nebulous stars in a milky galaxy. comprised of a fitted, opaque, skirt that joins a pleated, sheer panel right below the hips. a zipper, which can be zipped down from the top or up from the bottom, is featured down the centre. original retail price was €1,240 in 2014, or about €1,580 today.

very good vintage condition. has a series of very small snags on the right hip near the top, which are only in the top layer, not the lining, so no skin shows through. as a result, they are extremely discreet and do not show when worn. otherwise perfect condition, dry-cleaned, and ready to be worn.

made in Italy. outer fabric 52% nylon, 48% silk and 100% silk lining. marked size 40, best fits US 6-8 (shown clamped on US 2 mannequin).
