rare piece from the famous Fall 1999 Fendi collection by Karl Lagerfeld, which was chock-full of leather and furs in various colours, prints and cuts. this skirt walked the runway in a slightly patterned suede leather whereas ours is pretty much uniformly  a warm cinnamon brown throughout. wrap-style with waist-tie, it is meant to be worn rather low off the hips and has a fur trim. exposed seaming creates a sort of patchwork design throughout. feels as relevant today as nearly 30 years ago when it was designed.

very good vintage condition with the following caveat - snaps were put in by a previous owner to alter the size of the garment, which have been removed and all alterations reversed. what remains are a few indentations in the suede that are barely perceptible when on, the most noticeable ones covered by the wrap portion of the skirt and thus completely hidden (see final slides for examples). the flaws were taken into account when pricing the garment.

made in Italy. 100% leather with fur trim and 60% acetate 40% viscose cropped lining 18" in length. marked 46 but best fits XS/S/M depending on desired fit and how low you would like it to ride. shown here unclamped on US 0 mannequin with 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
