beautiful dress from designer Angelo Tarlazzi's Fall 1990 collection, where it walked the runway on fave model Yasmeen Ghauri. made of a nude underlay with a black lace over top, the whole dress ruched, with those amazing ribbon bows down the front. sheer lace sleeves finished off in a lettuce hem at the cuff. Tarlazzi is Italian but was based mainly out of Paris, often fusing those two influences throughout his work and specifically here in this dress with the bold sexiness of Italian design paired with the overt femininity of the French through the lingerie-like touches of lace and bows.
