beautiful vintage blouse from Italian designer Pino Lancetti in an amazing silk chiffon from Etro, back when they were fabric suppliers to designers like Ungaro and Valentino. Lancetti was known as ‘sarto pittore’ meaning tailor painter, because of his fondness for art and his habit of bringing a painterly element to this garments, and this top is no exception.

sheer, with pin tucks across the chest. the blouse has a loose elasticized cuff and a slight tent shape. meant to be worn loose and flowy. signed on the bottom right corner. best dated to 1970s.
