rare item from the popular Spring 1986 Alaïa collection. this rich red sweater dress/cardigan was shown on the runway in a few different colours and can be worn layered over other pieces or on its own, with a plunging neckline. made out of woven acetate, which gave this collection an almost liquid look, with the high gloss effect and sleek feel. not particularly stretchy, this dress won't hug your curves as much as it will contour them comfortably. impeccably cut, as with all early Alaïa pieces designed by Azzedine.

made in Italy. 100% acetate. marked M, best fits XS-S or US 2-4 maybe 6, depending on desired look (mannequin is a US 2). always consult the measurements provided, however.
