beautiful full length dress from designer Herve Leger - best known for the bandage dress but also a king of all things sexy. the dress has a nude underlay with a sheer black netting like lace over top, which extends past the the nude portion as of the knee creating a sheer bottom. it has a simple, very 90s minimalist, cut, with simple spaghetti straps and scoop neckline. definitely 90s, best dated to Spring 1996, where different nude dresses were layered with various black laces, often extending beyond the nude as we have here.

very good vintage condition. there was a small flaw to the lace in back that has been mended and is barely visible when on (see last slide). also, the straps were shortened, which we left as is, but the seams could be picked out if necessary to lengthen them, as the material was simply looped and sewn down (see before last slide). dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in France. lace is 87% viscose 13% nylon, nude underlay is 80% polyamide 20% polyurethane. marked XL, best fits M/L or US 8-10 (has stretch). shown here unclamped but fitting too large on a US 0 with 32" bust and 33.5" hips.
