documented sweater from Gianni Versace's Fall 1982 collection with a warrior depicted on the front. sweater is a deep blue with lighter blues, maroon and brown accents throughout. beautifully constructed, you can see the inner workings of the knit in the photos. the design can be seen on Gia Carangi and Kim Alexis in a Versace campaign photo from that year, shot by Richard Avedon. this is a very rare item from a special designer's early career.

very good vintage condition. shows some slight signs of wear, including the lightest pilling in some areas. has been darned in a few small spots that do not show at all when worn. professionally dry-cleaned.

material tag is not present, but it is wool with a blend of mohair and angora, most likely, to account for the softness. fits S-M-L, depending on desired fit (mannequin is a US 2). always consult the measurements provided.
