incredible bracelet from collectible Black American designer Patrick Kelly. the button is one of Kelly's trademark design elements, using it heavily throughout the short five years of his label, which he had from 1985 until 1990 and which ended with his very early passing at only 35 years of age.

this bracelet is extremely rare, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, who have quite an extensive Patrick Kelly collection, housing one. we aren't sure of the exact collection, as buttons were used throughout.

it consists of 8 buttons of varying colours encased in what appears to be brass metal and attached to one another through brass chains on top and bottom. it is stamped with the name in back.

very good vintage condition. the brass has some slight oxidization, which is normal wear with time. 

made in France.
