rare suede wraptop from the celebrated designer Azzedine Alaïa. features laser-cut perforated detail throughout, adding a little dimension and transparency. features two long straps that wrap around the waist - lamb suede is amazingly soft and supple so the straps lay comfortably against the body.

a jacket with the same perforated pattern is attributed to his Spring/Summer 1988 collection. regardless the piece is late 1980s.

very good vintage condition. no tears, holes or stains. there is mention of a lining which is no longer present, though if it was removed it was done expertly as the piece feels intact.

100% lamb suede (called lamb velvet - incredibly soft suede). made in Italy. marked size S, fits S-M possibly L, as its a wraptop (on size L, top would be tied in back most likely and not the front). model is a US 6.
