quirky skirt from Geoffrey Beene’s less formal line Beenebag, started in 1971. paperbag waist with elasticized waistband (drawstring is just for show). large, exaggerated pockets on each side. thick what feels like cotton in a dark navy with white hearts and white contrast stitch. lining of waistband and pockets in bright, lustrous red fabric. great quality piece from the 1970s.

excellent vintage condition. has slight discoloration in some spots on drawstring, otherwise perfect.
