beautiful 1970s vintage dress consisting of a sheer mesh fabric with a hand-embroidered extremely intricate design throughout. the finished product is a unique, delicate and labour-intensive piece that is as timeless as it is timely. the green mesh is very fine and completely sheer, while the embroidered design offers some opacity but very little. the colour of the embroidery is between a turquoise and a teal. has a scalloped edge along the bottom.

very good vintage condition, especially considering the age and delicate materials. there were a few instances where the embroidery was missing, which we had replaced by hand with a closely colour-matched embroidery floss (see final slide). there is some slightly loose threading in a few places. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

no tags. best fits XS/S maybe M or US 0-2-4 maybe 6. no stretch. (shown on US 2 mannequin). if the dress were worn too fitted it could get damaged by wear. meant to be worn away from the body and is not fit and flare.
