S/S 2003 Yves Saint Laurent by Tom Ford runway skirt with bum impression - XS
very rare skirt from one of the favourite Yves Saint Laurent collections designed by Tom Ford, Spring 2003, where it walked the runway in a rose pink. ours is in a dusty neutral, somewhere between mocha and lavender. the skirt has a rather straight cut, with a slit in front, in a shiny satin. the real coup here however is in back, where through a contrasting matte finish, the silhouette of a bare bum and its accompanying thighs is revealed. the effect is subtle enough but still quite apparent and such a genius touch from a designer who never shied away from sexy, sometimes dabbling in what some considered the vulgar.
very good vintage condition. no real flaws. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
