rare runway Versace set from the beloved Gianni years and specifically one of his most famous collections, Fall 1991, which, as Vogue states 'crystallized the supermodel moment'. black velvet bodysuit and matching leggings with satin appliqué panels in orange, yellow, blue, and green. the bodysuit walked on Cindy Crawford paired with a very slight variation on our legging, while this exact legging walked on Stephanie Seymour. the pieces pair perfectly together of course.

excellent vintage condition. no flaws. note that the bodysuit is slightly larger than the legging, though the difference is rather negligible due to the stretch nature of the pieces. note also that the tags are different, as both tags were being used interchangeably in the very early 90s, but you can see from the back of the fabric tags that both are from the 1991 collection. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in Italy. bodysuit is 64% acetate 25% nylon 11% elastane and leggings are 46% nylon 37% acetate 16% elastane. bodysuit marked 44 and pants marked 40 but set fits XS/S, as the leggings especially are cut slim in the hips. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 32" bust 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
