beautiful jacket from highly-sought after Italian designer Romeo Gigli. jacket is a silk and cotton blend textured textile in bright, cobalt blue with black collar. it has wide, exaggerated lapels and a single-breasted construction, with a row of three buttons running down the front, and an extra long vent in back. two flap pockets and one breast pocket. semi-lined, with contrast lining in sleeves and black lined panels attached to front, for structure.

from the 1990s, possibly Fall 1996, where you see a jacket in a similar iridescent fabric and contrasting black collar on the runway (the tag where the date is marked is heavily faded but appears to possibly have 1996 marked).

excellent vintage condition. no flaws. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
