1980s Vicky Tiel Couture black dress with cut-out sleeves and open back - XS/S
fabulous dress from somewhat forgotten designer Vicky Tiel, a 1960s party girl who started her own label (at first with a friend) thanks to early investors Elizabeth Taylor and her husband Richard Burton and sold dresses often to the Hollywood elite throughout the 1970s 80s and 90s. she always put sexy and fun to the forefront, emphasizing and flattering the body and this dress is no exception, fitted through the waist, with a draped tulip skirt and those amazing cut-outs through the arms and back. unlined, made of what feels like a stretch viscose, with some panelling through the middle for a proper fit. best dated to the late 1980s and sold at Barney's New York.
very good vintage condition. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
