beautiful skirt from Spring 1977, Yves Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche collectible Spanish Collection. the skirt walked the runway in blue and a few other colours that season. it is made of a great light gauze, what feels like cotton, which is quite sheer, and is gathered around the waistband, extending out into a fair amount of volume at the bottom. has a single ruffle about a foot up from the bottom. the pockets are visible through the skirt, as would be whatever undergarments are worn.

fair vintage condition, with a few small flaws. has two instances of what is likely sun damage, where the blue is faded, on the front of the garment - these spots more or less blend into the folds of the skirt. there is also some wear/slight fading along the very bottom hem, especially in one distinct spot (see final slide), but this is not visible really when on. the skirt still presents beautifully, is dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in France. marked 34, best fits XXS/XS or US 00-0 with a 22" waist (could not be completely closed on mannequin's waist).
