y2k Claude Montana wool blazer with faux slashes - S
bold magenta pink blazer from Claude Montana's Blu line, which he started in 1999. a fitted cut, in a stretch wool, with a slightly cropped length, it's meant to sit close to the body. it has three snap closures, and a series of three faux slashes on each side which are a sort of polyurethane fabric that resembles rubber. has two hidden zippered pockets, one on each side, and a contrasting red lining. best dated to the beginning of this label, 1999, or very early 2000s.
very good vintage condition, other than one flaw - the top slash on the left side, very near the underarm, has been torn on one side. this does not show when worn, as it's mostly concealed by the arm (damaged shown in last slide). sold as is and priced accordingly.
made in Italy. 98% wool, 2% elastane. acetate and viscose blend lining. marked 40, best fits US 2-4 (shows on US 2 mannequin).
