S/S 1981 Chloé by Karl Lagerfeld runway cream wool jacket with multi-colour grid pattern - XS/S
perfect jacket from the Spring 1981 Chloé collection, when Karl Lagerfeld was famously at the helm. the jacket has an interesting length, not cropped at the waist but not long enough to cover the thighs, and a slightly boxy cut. it can be worn open at the collar or buttoned up entirely. made of a creamy ivory white wool with colourful grid lines, the jacket was featured on the runway that season in this iteration (though the sleeve appears shorter) and a more cropped style as well.
excellent vintage condition, no flaws to note. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
made in France. no material marked but most likely wool with acetate lining. no size marked, fits US XS/S or US 0-2, as it's rather fitted through the hips. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
