perfect dress from Yves Saint Laurent's Fall 1975 Rive Gauche runway show. made of a beautiful horizontal striped knit in grey and creamy white, the dress is cut straight and meant to fall around the body, not catch any curves or fit and flare. it has two front pockets. it walked the runway in a few colour-ways that season, usually belted, but can be worn as is as there are no belt loops. has a bit of a boxy, straight cut bracelet length sleeve that ends at the wrist.

very good vintage condition. some light wear consistent with age of the garment. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in Hong Kong, where many YSL knits were made in the 1970s and into the early 1980s. 100% wool. marked S, fits XS/S (shown on US 2 mannequin with 32" bust and 34" hips).
