beautiful skirt from designer Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique label. the skirt is a wrap style, with three buttons holding it shut, and is also zippered to a leather belt, which allows you to unzip the belt and have it hang lower on your hips. beautiful design, made out of the most beautiful, softest camel coloured material, mainly angora with some wool for durability. classic with a twist. best dated to the Spring 2000 collection, where Gaultier sent a series of similar skirts with the detachable, zippered belts down the runway.

very good vintage condition. skirt has been dry-cleaned and pressed and leather belt has been conditioned. belt has some light marks mainly where it gets buckled, and the skirt has two small areas in the back where moth damage has eaten away at the fuzzy pile but has not affected the webbing, so they are not holes. as a result, they do not show at all when worn, and the skirt looks beautiful on.

made in Italy. 70% angora, 30% wool, and the belt is leather. marked US 8, but best fits US 0-2-4 maybe 6, depending on how you want the skirt to fit. on a size US 4-6, it's possible that the skirt will not hang below the belt if unzipped, so it would depend on how you want that to work. shown on US 2 mannequin. make sure to check the measurements.
