beautiful dress from everyone's favourite designer Issey Miyake. best dated to the 1990s, the dress has his classic Pleats Please technique but is from the main line. made of two layers of sheer black fabric, the dress maintains a semi-sheer quality and a certain effervescence thanks to the lightness of the fabric despite the sharp cut. has a beautiful high collar and an elegant, minimalist cut.

excellent vintage condition, no flaws to note. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

tags removed, probably due to sheerness of fabric. most likely made of polyester like most of his pleated pieces, though has a softer hand feel than other Pleats Please pieces we have had, so possibly a blend. fits XS-S-M depending on your desired effect. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 32" bust and 33.5" hips.
