classic top from French designer Chantal Thomass who is best known for her ultra romantic, very Parisian, super sexy designs, typically in a black and white colour way, and which often incorporate typically feminine touches like lace and ribbon and lingerie elements. this top, very true to her style, is from the Fall 1994 collection, where a dress in the same fabric walked the runway.

the top is made of a beautiful stretch fabric with a wide cotton velvet, non stretch panel, and a dainty touch of cotton lace trim along the top. the same cotton velvet and lace trim is at each cuff, with a zipper for a fitted look. there is also a thin velvet trim along the bottom. open, bateau neckline, fit and flare cut, and mid-length.

excellent vintage condition - no flaws. cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in France. 52% acetate 44% rayon 3% nylon 1% spandex. velvet is 100% cotton. lace is 97% cotton 3% nylon. marked 42/10, best fits M/L or US 8-10 maybe 12 (note that top has stretch but velvet trim along neckline and bottom has no stretch). shown on US 2 mannequin, not pinned.
