the most beautiful evening pants from designer Pierre Balmain. they are constructed of silk velvet with a high waist cut and very slight dropped crotch with a cropped capri length. have a blouson or harem pant leg finishing off in a straight cuff. the defining detail, however, are the incredible rounded panels of sheer silk chiffon that are placed on the side and rear of each leg, opening a window into the leg which perfectly contours and flatters the body. an absolutely perfect pair of pants, that are as special as they are wearable.

the pants have the design house's couture label, but no numbered couture tape. this happens sometimes in couture items. they are of exceptional quality. we believe they are either 1980s or possibly 1990s, when Oscar de la Renta was head of Haute Couture for the label. 

no material tags present, but feels like silk velvet, silk chiffon or georgette insets and satin silk lining. fit XS or US 0-2. shown on US 2 mannequin. not meant to be worn tight through the hips.
