special belt from the Spring 1990 Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche collection, made of a cotton and viscose blend faille in bright apple green, accented by large, colourful semi-sphere beads made of plastic but meant to resemble glass gripoix. walked the runway that season in a pink as opposed to our green. the belt ties by simply knotting each end, allowing the wearer to decide the placement, as it can be worn at the natural waist as seen on the runway or a bit lower if desired. rare and so evocative of that period of YSL, a special piece to keep forever.

very good vintage condition. a few slight marks but no damage or visible wear to the fabric. all beads present and secure.

made in France. 56% cotton 44% rayon. marked 36, best fits XS. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 23.5" waist.
