beautiful knit dress from the beloved designer Azzedine Alaïa. the dress is meant to be worn slouchy and oversized. has a wide neck allowing the piece to drape off the shoulder if desired. also has wide sleeves. beautiful raised seaming (a recurring Alaïa element) in the back to create a little shape and interest. the material is a knit with a little stretch in a marled bronze colour with flecks of black. best dated to the Spring 1984 collection, where the same cut can be seen on the runway in a different colour-way.

excellent vintage condition. possible ever so slight hanger damage to one shoulder, but that could also be the design, meant to hang off the shoulder. not noticeable when on either way, especially when hanging off to the side, and would most likely be solved with a few wears. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

material tag not present. feels like a knit rayon perhaps. no size marked, fits S/M/L or US 2-4-6-8 maybe 10 depending on desired effect (shown on a US 2 mannequin).
