S/S 2004 Emanuel Ungaro by Giambattista Valli silk print pant - S
beautiful silk pants from the Spring 2004 Emanuel Ungaro collection, designed by Giambattista Valli, his hand-picked protegé, when he took over ready-to-wear at the fashion house while Ungaro concentrated on the Haute Couture line. the pants feature a tropical-esque pattern, in a sheer pink silk chiffon, but are lined in an additional layer of chiffon, giving them opacity, unlike on the runway where the print was shown un-layered and sheer. they have a flowy, bias cut, straight wide leg - the bias cut delivering lots of shape around the leg and movement.
excellent vintage condition, with the caveat that the pants appear to have been taken in slightly at the waist. otherwise no flaws. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
made in Italy. no material tag but silk. no size marked, fits S or US 2-4, with the caveat that the waist was slightly taken it, it seems. shown on US 0 mannequin with 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
- waist: 26" (measure slightly below natural waist)

- rise: 10"
- inseam: 30"
