1980s rare Issey Miyake red leather pants with unique hardware - S/M

exceptional pants from designer Issey Miyake. from the 1980s. the pants are made of a deep red leather, featuring a mid to high rise waist (depending on where you wear them on the body), wide slightly cropped leg, and amazing studding at the waistband, including large round reflective orbs. the best feature, however, is the extra paneling at the leg that fastens at the hip and sort of hangs off the front, for a super unique look. very rare, a matching jacket, clearly from the same collection, with the same studding, recently sold at Kerry Taylor Auctions for 4,940 British pounds, demonstrating the lasting power of Miyake's creativity and designs.

very good vintage condition. there is a 1/2" long thin almost pen mark at the front, and some slight scuffing to a few of the orbs (see final slides). some creasing to the leather from storage that will fall out with wear. the zipper has been replaced. otherwise in excellent condition, cleaned, and ready to be worn.

made in Japan. 100% leather. marked size 8, fit S/M or US 2-4 maybe 6 depending on your desired fit. shown here, unclamped, on a US 0 mannequin with 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
