super lovely blouse from American designer Norma Kamali's OMO line. bright red silk satin with intricate, detailed floral embroidery throughout. the coat version of this blouse is in the MET's permanent collection, as is a blue satin variation, showcasing how very special the piece is. 

the blouse has a peter pan collar, dolman cropped sleeves, and is nipped in at the waist creating a beautiful, flattering line. padded shoulders to accentuate the cut. dated by museum listing between 1989 and 1993.
