perfect piece from the highly sought-after and collectible Spring 2003 Ralph Lauren Purple Label collection, prized in recent years by celebrities for red carpet appearances. semi-sheer knit with a slightly open weave, trimmed out in an even sheerer, tone on tone, netting like knit, creating a soft ruffle around its edges. the top walked the runway that season. features a long row of hook and eye fasteners down the front for closure.

very good vintage condition. some slightest of wear to the knit and a repair on the seam at the neck where the ruffle had come loose behind the shoulder - nothing that is visible when on. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
