beautiful Valentino two-piece skirt suit in matching stripes of cream and brown from the Spring 2001 collection. the way the stripes are laid out almost give a trompe l'oeil effect, creating a beautiful line on the body. the jacket has a deep v neckline, a bow at the waist closure and slight padding to square off the shoulder. the skirt is a slender pencil cut with a mid to low-waist. seen on the runway that season, amidst a series of striped pieces. a timeless, wearable piece that remains still so special and eye-catching, from a highly collectible designer.

excellent vintage condition. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in Italy. fabric tag was faded during dry-cleaning, but confirmed before fading that 60% linen, 20% silk, 20% viscose with 100% polyester lining. marked size 6, fits XS or US 0-2 (be sure to check hip measurement on skirt to make sure fit is correct). shown on US 0 mannequin with 32" bust 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
