1990s Liza Bruce black jumpsuit with sheer panels - XS
lovely jumpsuit from American designer Liza Bruce, who started in swimwear in the late 1970s/early 1980s and then migrated to ready to wear, most famously designing the sheer lame slip dress worn by a (very) young Kate Moss in 1994. her ready to wear explored different materials and silhouettes, though she retained an incredible finesse with stretch from her swimwear days, and this jumpsuit is a perfect example.
crafted of thick black nylon that has some stretch but retains a lot of structure and sheer, expertly cut mesh panels that dip unexpectedly low in front for a super interesting look. the sleeves have a bit of volume, giving a more thought out design than a simple stretch catsuit. really remarkable craftsmanship from an expert in the field.
excellent vintage condition. no flaws to note. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
