classic 1990s Escada by Margaretha Ley jumpsuit made out of sparkly gold lurex fabric. has a highwaist cut and features two zipped pockets at the hips, a false fly, a fitted waistband, straight roomy leg and slight pleating at the waist, in front of each hip. also has a shiny gold button at each cuff.

note that this is an original vintage piece, but was altered by a seamstress by its previous owner to give it a slightly more modern cut. the original jumpsuit had a more loose, almost pyjama shape and sat further from the body, especially in the waist and along the torso in back. the jumpsuit was then taken in at the waist most notably in the back. it now creates a very flattering line, nipping the waist and sitting closer to the body. the alterations create a bit of volume along the shoulder blades in back, which the buyer should be aware of, but which i think creates an interesting shape. the shoulder pads were also removed, but new shoulder pads could always easily be inserted.

jumpsuit is in excellent condition and is dry-cleaned and ready to be worn. note that you can see the evidence of the alterations inside the jumpsuit, but there are no signs at all outside the item.

made in Germany. 50% nylon 38% metal 12% elastane. best fits US 0-2 maybe 4 (mannequin is a US 2). always consult the measurements provided.
