beautiful dress from a favourite American designer Marc Jacobs' Fall 2004 collection, where it walked the runway on Gisele in a teal as opposed to the classic black of ours. the dress has the sweetest, modest 1940s cut, but is made of a floral daisy lace and is entirely sheer, with no lining. peter pan collar, ruffle at the bust and hip, slight puff sleeve, and pleated throughout the skirt. purposely unfinished and slightly frayed hem. worn on the runway with a belt.

very good vintage condition. the lace has some slight surface wear in spots, consistent with age, but nothing that affects its look or durability. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

made in USA. material tag faded, most likely rayon or rayon blend. marked O, best fits XS or US 0. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 32" bust, 23.5" waist, 33.5" hips.
