1992 Issey Miyake Permanente light jacket with fringed rows in beige cotton and silk blend - O/S
interesting jacket from Issey Miyake's Permanente line, which he started in 1985 to re-create some of his early designs and focus on simple silhouettes, often in neutral tones, using high quality, long lasting fabrics. this line was less about experimentation and more about putting forth the results of early exploration to create beautiful, wearable pieces.
this jacket is best dated to 1992 from the code on the tag. it features a boxy, single-breasted cut with notched lapels. the textile does all the work here - a cotton and silk blend with repeating rows of fringe. the jacket is extremely light and is a perfect layering piece year-round.
excellent vintage condition. no flaws to note. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
