special jacket from John Galliano's Fall 1990 "Fencing" collection, soon after he made his arrival to Paris and received renewed financial backing to continue his line. the jacket walked the runway that season in white. made of a thick acetate, wool and viscose blend satin, the jacket is expertly panelled to conform to the body and is meant to be worn quite fitted, with slight padding to square off the shoulder. has a slight sporty feel, which was a theme throughout the collection, with the ribbed collar. zipper for closure and at each cuff and a zippered pocket at each hip.

very good vintage condition. has some slight wear to the satin, though nothing that shows when on. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.
