very special documented jumpsuit from French designer Chantal Thomass, who excells in strong but ultra-feminine design that often incorporates lingerie elements. this jumpsuit is from the Fall 1991 collection, where it walked the runway in an alternate colour on supermodel of the era Carla Bruni. has a lovely, trompe-l'oeil corset through the middle that features real lacing but where all the boning is feigned by contrast stitch. 

very good vintage condition. has a small mark 1/4" wide on the right sleeve near the cuff and two even smaller marks in front on the right thigh, 1/8" wide. neither are apparent when worn. otherwise it is in very good condition, though there is slight wear to the fabric throughout. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

material tag too faded, feels like stretch viscose, very soft and comfy. marked 40/8, best fits US 4-6-8, shown here on US 2 mannequin with 32" bust and 34" hips and fits just slightly large.
