1990s Donna Karan wool bodysuit with silk sleeves - XS/S

great little black bodysuit from Donna Karan, and one of her famous 7 pieces that she considers the building blocks of a wardrobe, a stretch layer, in the vein of a yoga piece. this particular one has a light, stretch wool front panel with stretch silk sleeves and back, paired with a long zipper down the front and a hook and eye clasp (unclasped here) at the neck that would create a beautiful keyhole effect if the zipper were unzipped. the bottom portion is stretch nylon. dated prior to 1995 from the union label.

excellent vintage condition. dry-cleaned and ready to be worn.

 

made in the USA. 95% wool 5% elastane front, 95% silk 5% elastane sleeve and back, nylon and elastane blend bottom. marked S, fits XS/S. shown here on US 0 mannequin, with 32" bust 23.5" waist and 33.5" hips.
