fun dress from a favourite designer of ours Norma Kamali. best dated to the early to to mid 1980s, the dress is composed of a knit cotton base with rows upon rows of large paillettes. the slouchiness of the cotton knit dress gives the usually more formal sequins a laidback, daytime feel, which we find more interesting than had it been bodycon or stretch. the knit cotton also allows a breathability that makes the piece much more comfortable on. has a wide boatneck, short cap style sleeve and a more or less straight cut, meant to fit more like a slouchy sweater dress.

new with tags. very good vintage condition - there are a few paillettes missing and a one or two folded, most likely from storage as the dress appears to never have been worn. none of the flaws are noticeable when on.

made in Hong Kong. 100% cotton, other than paillettes. marked L, fits S/M/L depending on desired amount of slouch, and could easily accommodate US 2-4-6-8-10. measurements provided below are conservative as there is stretch due to the knit construction. shown on US 2 mannequin.
