beautiful cream wool sweater coat in ribbed wool with real shearling shawl collar from amazing designer Gianfranco Ferre, who was head designer for Dior from 1989 to 1996. the sweater features a lining insert that can be worn separately that is slightly brighter white and less cream than the sweater. the insert is quilted and in full silk with two large front pockets and a real shearling collar in a light grey. the sweater attaches to the insert by a zipper at the collar. there are no closures on either the silk insert or the sweater portion. the sweater has a swing coat cut, with slight a-line shape. the silk insert also has an a-line shape, but feels a little more boxy rather than swing shape.

best dated to late 1980s or early 1990s.

very good vintage condition and professionally cleaned. the sweater coat has the slightest pilling that does not show at all when worn.

marked US 8, best fits women's M-L or US 6-8-10. always consult the measurements provided, however.
